GamerInsights is an invaluable resource for game development efforts of any size.  A brief overview of what it delivers:

•  Player-feedback informed insights on the user experiences of key titles across the gaming landscape. By gathering a standardized set of UX data from many games, GamerInsights establishes the landscape of UX quality.  By measuring many different games the same way, we gain the ability to make comparisons and arrive at valid conclusions on relative quality.   

• Detailed GamerInsights Reports are available to developers that desire a deeper understanding of specific titles.  What does the game do well, where does it fall short?  These insights can help inform design decisions on projects, to help find advantages and avoid pitfalls.  

• Quantitative yet Qualitative.  By asking user experience questions at scale, we can understand both the larger patterns while also getting a sense of why we see the patterns.  

• A one-number-summary "score".  Senior leaders and executives many not have the time to dig deeply into the details, and prefer a pithy distillation of the data. The GamerScore is a one-number representation of the aggregate UX measures, in the familiar, intuitive 0% - 100% range.  While the details are still important to some - the GamerScore is a very convenient metric for high-level discussions.  

• Data from actual, everyday gamers.  By collecting UX feedback from a diverse sample of players, the insights are more likely to represent the overall player base. This is in contrast to some of the extreme viewpoints found in reviews or social media posts, which can be hard to interpret as representative or an outlier. 

• Cost-effective and already available.  Generating comparable data on the UX of the competitive landscape would be challenging for most game development organizations. Even the organizations fortunate enough to have UXR resources may not have enough research capacity conduct wide-scale research on competitive titles.  Each GamerInsight Report is far less expensive than conducting equivalent research.
